The plunge of the US Dollar

The USD is plunging against not only the Euro plus also against all major currencies. But it seems that there is more to it (cf link in the title) and that the corrections for the US excesses might be painful.
This, together with the high oil price is not good news for the Americain consumers!!

The question is now: how bad will it get and how much it will affect the rest of the world.
